Stainless Steel Polishing

Stainless steel polishing is, or can be the most satisfying polishing, but can also be the most difficult. The hardness of the metal makes polishing preparation take much longer than Aluminium and Brass. But after you have done the prep it polishes to a much greater more reflective or “mirror” finish. We offer different levels of stainless polishing. We can work to known “R” standards. However if you are having something made that you intend to have polished, make sure everyone involved in the production aware that the final finish is,
“A polished finish”. The welding guys need to know so they keep their blending and sanding to a minimum!! Otherwise our labour time will increase because, not enough care was taken before we got hold of it! If you are planning on having things made from stainless we are happy to consult and work with your fabricators. Or get us to fabricate it, and we’ll save you money through the whole process.
